The boys are from the orphanage on Lafayette Street (photo to come). There was a time when the boys came in their old raggedy everyday clothes.  The Rector at the time (Maybe this one - Fr. Brittain) decided to cover their old clothes with vestments, which caused quite a stir among the congregation.
