HIPOINTE, MY OLD NEIGHBORHOOD

The photo below is of the Hi-Pointe Theatre, at McCausland and Clayton avenues. Less than one block north, is Forest Park, which I believe is the second largest urban park in the USA. Forest Park was the sight of the 1904 worlds fair. During the 20 plus years that I lived in Hi-Pointe, the area was primarily Irish-Catholic, some german & Italian Americans and a few rural transplants, a middle-class area.
