Words
to live by. I would like to quote a wise old Beatles’ verse:
“Lend
me your ears and I’ll sing you a song, and I’ll try not to sing out of
key”
Good
thought! I like to begin every gig
we play with that thought in mind….!
Making
music is what makes me feel alive….we all need a diversion, eh?
Pluggin’ in and playing is my escape.
It’s what I thrive on. It
makes a good day perfect, and makes a bad day a hell of a lot better.
It takes me to a happy place!
We
are a lucky generation to have grown up exposed to the most incredible music
ever written and recorded. It’s
what inspired me to want to pick up my guitar and play. I got hooked after seeing the Beatles perform at Busch
Stadium in ’66. Then I
“experienced” Jimi Hendrix live at Kiel auditorium a couple of years later. I’ll never forget Clapton with Cream laying down some of
the hottest guitar work of it’s time on “Crossroads”. It kept getting better!
Jimmy Page and Led Zep, Jeff Beck, David Gilmore and Pink Floyd, Jerry
Garcia and the Dead, The Allman Brothers, Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Larry
Carlton, Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits…..the list goes on and on.
These monsters iced it for me and inspired me.
Playing
live and putting on a good performance is what motivates me.
Being able to do what I love with my best friends is a dream come true.
Being able to put it all together and showcase it is the reason we do it.
So
thanks for your continuing support and friendship, and for coming out and
letting us perform for you. We hope
you enjoy it as much as we enjoy bringing it to you. Your energy and support keeps this train rollin’….
